Main task - Location
This is where we will have one of our locations, where our main character is running at the beginning of the film. We chose this area because it is quiet and surrounded by trees and bushes, which makes the place seem more isolated.

Classification of our main task film
We decided to make our a film a 15, this is because our film does not contain any sexual content, drug references but maybe a little swearing later on in thos movie. Our film is a horror however we have some action elements within our film so this does not make our film very scary. On the other hand, the horror side of the film is being portrayed through our main character by the psychiatric problems that our main characfter is suffering from and the mind control. However our film is not mainly directed at people at the age around 15, it is mainly aimed at older viewers, although it is suitable for 15.
According to the BBFC, this is their description of a 15:
Suitable only for 15 years and over
No one younger than 15 may see a ‘15’ film in a cinema. No one younger than 15 may rent or buy a ‘15’ rated video work.

Discrimination
The work as a whole must not endorse discriminatory language or behaviour.Drugs
Drug taking may be shown but the film as a whole must not promote or encourage drug misuse. The misuse of easily accessible and highly dangerous substances (for example, aerosols or solvents) is unlikely to be acceptable.Horror
Strong threat and menace are permitted unless sadistic or sexualised.Imitable behaviour
Dangerous behaviour (for example, hanging, suicide and self-harming) should not dwell on detail which could be copied. Easily accessible weapons should not be glamorised.Language
There may be frequent use of strong language (for example, ‘fuck’). The strongest terms (for example, ‘cunt’) may be acceptable if justified by the context. Aggressive or repeated use of the strongest language is unlikely to be acceptable.Nudity
Nudity may be allowed in a sexual context but without strong detail. There are no constraints on nudity in a non-sexual or educational context.Sex
Sexual activity may be portrayed without strong detail. There may be strong verbal references to sexual behaviour, but the strongest references are unlikely to be acceptable unless justified by context. Works whose primary purpose is sexual arousal or stimulation are unlikely to be acceptable.Theme
No theme is prohibited, provided the treatment is appropriate for 15 year olds.Violence
Violence may be strong but should not dwell on the infliction of pain or injury. The strongest gory images are unlikely to be acceptable. Strong sadistic or sexualised violence is also unlikely to be acceptable. There may be detailed verbal references to sexual violence but any portrayal of sexual violence must be discreet and have a strong contextual justification.Main task title
We decided to name our film 'Misapprehension' this is because it means misunderstanding and false impression, this links with our main character K'La who is being portrayed as a psycho but later on in the movie we discover that she is not the psycho that is being portrayed. This is because she is under mind control and she cannt control her actions e.g killing people off. This is why we think that she is misunderstood as people aren o aware of her being mind controlled.

Main task: Actor's script
News reporter Tom Edwards:
Good evening, it is February the 6th and this is Tom Edwards reporting live outside the GFCC psychiatric hospital where there has been an escape from one of the patients. A woman aged 24 who goes by the name of K’La who has seemed to have broken out. K’La has been in the GFCC psychiatric hospital for 2 years now in relation to previous criminals due to the mental challenges she is suffering from. The police are investigating where about in the GFCC centre she has broken out from and how she did it. It seems like she has been working on this for a while, the centre is guarded up pretty well surrounded by fences and high staff security. As said by the doctors she has caused damage in the centre itself, with other patients and the property. We’ve been told that she cannot control her actions therefore she acts the way she does. She seems to be one of the most dangerous and affected patients in the centre. More updated news tonight at 6.

Main Task: Location Shots
Main task research/planning [3] Analysis
Genre: Horror
Halloween (1978)
Halloween (1978)
This movie is set I 1963 at Halloween time and the first thing we can hear is the diegetic sound of children saying Halloween rhymes and the establishing shot is of quite a big house and the camera is hand-held this is because it gives the impression of someone point of view and as if someone is walking up to the house. In this mise-en-scene all we see is a house with a few lights on but we cannot see anything around the house because it is dark outside. The camera then goes closer towards the house as if someone is walking up to the house, the camera then pans around the side of the house to look through the window and we see a couple kissing. The effect of this hand-held camera movement is that it is someone looking through the window and we as the audience are seeing it from this person’s eyes. The camera then moves into the house after the couple are out of sight and the camera is in the kitchen but we cannot see much as it is too dark to see anything. The man then puts on the light and then we see a man’s arm reaching out into the kitchen draw, we now know that this camera is the point of view of the man. The man then pulls out a kitchen knife and walks through the house and up the stairs to murder the couple he saw through the window.

Main task research/planning [2] Analysis
Genre: Horror
A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)
A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)
Before the title appears there is a minute of things that seem to be happening. The clip starts off with a close up camera shot on the person’s feet that is walking and all we can see in this mise-en-scene at this point is the feet and then the hands. There is diegetic sound of heavy breathing by this character, this sets the mood of what is going on as it makes it seem more scary because we can not see this face so all we hear from him is his heavy breathing. There is an also non-diegetic sound of a keyboard to make it more eary and intense. There are a lot of cuts in this part. We then see a hand reach out for a tool and this hand does not look clean, this shows that this character would be the antagonist in this movie. In this clip we see the antagonist using tools, these tools are the type of tools that could be used to hurt somebody like a sharp knife, hammer, a flame etc… but these tools are being used to make something. The antagonist’s hand is then reaching into a glove slowly that he had just made for himself from those tools we previously saw. There is then a close up of one hand with the glove on and the sharp claws out, this gives an idea that this is going to be used later on in the film. After the title appears there is a sudden shot of the claw going through something to show how dangerous this man is and also with this shot there is a scream in the background as well as a roar to show as if the scream was coming from the object the claw went through.
After this there is a wide shot of a girl running through some sort of alley way with wet floors and all dark everywhere apart from behind where there is only visible light but she seems to be running away from the light as typically the person would be walking towards the light to get out of the danger but then maybe this light is where the danger is. Suddenly a sheep pops out from the side with a loud evil laugh in the background, this shows that this could be some sort of nightmare that this girl is having and the evil laugh could relate to the person in the previous clip.
